FAU’s Team A.R.C.T.I.C. Recognized for Outstanding Project Video

Project S.E.R.V.E. is pleased to recognize Florida Atlantic University’s Team A.R.C.T.I.C. (Amputee Residual-Limb Comfort and Thermal Insulation Cuff), as the winner of our video competition.

The award-winning video highlighted the team’s work developing a specialized warming device for Team USA para bobsled athlete, Will Castillo, who served in the US Army for ten years. Created through Project S.E.R.V.E., the device was designed to help keep Castillo’s residual limb warm during training and competition in extreme winter conditions.
